Caterpillar Supplier Excellence Recognition

A proud moment today at the Nordic Lights HQ in Finland as Caterpillar concluded their visit and we were honored with the Caterpillar Supplier Excellence Recognition certification for 2024.
This recognition reflects our strong performance in quality, operations, and continuous improvement—and the dedication of our incredible team.

Thank you to Caterpillar for the honor, and for joining us in the production hall to capture this special moment.

Below a transcript of the speech given by Caterpillar representatives during the ceremony:

„Good afternoon, everyone.

It’s an honor to be here today to recognize and celebrate excellence. We are gathered to present one of the most important acknowledgments we offer — our Supplier Excellence Recognition Award.

This award is not given lightly. To earn it, a supplier must meet Caterpillar’s rigorous standards over a full 12-month period. That means consistently delivering on-time, maintaining exceptional quality with low PPM, and submitting PPAPs accurately and on schedule. It’s a true test of consistency, discipline, and commitment — and your team has risen to that challenge.

You are among the best of the best. Your work directly supports our ability to deliver world class construction and mining equipment to customers around the world. And when our customers count on us, we know we can count on you. That level of trust doesn’t come easy — it’s earned, day after day, shipment after shipment.

On behalf of our entire Caterpillar team, I want to thank you, Nordic Lights, for your partnership, your dedication, and the pride you bring to your work. You’re not just a supplier — you’re a critical part of our supply chain, and a valued contributor to our success.

Today is about celebration, but I also want to look forward.  We know that excellence isn’t a destination — it’s a journey.  There’s always room to improve, and new ways we can grow together. The bar is high, but we know you’re capable of reaching even greater heights.

And that drive for excellence doesn’t rest with one individual. This award reflects the efforts of your entire team.  Every person in your organization played a part in earning this award, and you should all feel very proud of what you’ve accomplished together. This award belongs to all of you.
