NORDIC LIGHTS ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP TRANSITION
Sales and Marketing Director Antti Turja has been appointed Managing Director of Nordic Lights Ltd. with responsibility for the business of Nordic Lights and Hamsar.
Since joining the company in 2011, Antti Turja has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth across the Asia-Pacific region, including establishing Nordic Lights’ operations and production facility in China. With an extensive focus on business development in key markets such as Japan, Australia, and other countries across the Asia-Pacific region, Antti has been instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint and customer base.
After nine years of dedicated service and leadership, Tom Nordström, President of Nordic Lights and Hamsar, will be retiring from the company on September 30
th, 2024. Tom has served as the CEO of Nordic Lights since 2015, and during his tenure, he established Nordic Lights as a leading supplier of lighting solutions in the global heavy-duty equipment market, with a strong position in all major OEM markets as well as a significant aftermarket business.

Looking ahead, Antti Turja is committed to strengthening the relationships with existing customers and leading the Nordic Lights’ team in acquiring new opportunities. A key focus for the new managing director will also be on integrating the company Hamsar in Canada under the broader Nordic Lights umbrella, which will significantly enhance the company’s presence in North America. This strategic move will not only strengthen Nordic Lights’ footprint in the region but also open new business opportunities by offering a wider range of products.
